Laser Hair Removal Consent Form (English)

Pre-treatment instructions

Before you begin, please read the following instructions carefully so we can perform the treatment safely and achieve the best possible results for you:

  • Make sure your skin is not dehydrated or irritated and that the area to be treated has been shaved before the session, preferably 24 hours before your appointment so the skin does not become irritated.
  • Avoid applying cosmetics, creams, or similar products to the skin that may block the laser beam.
  • It is recommended that you stop mechanical hair removal, such as waxing or tweezing, 4-5 weeks before the first session and between sessions, as it may significantly reduce results.
  • Do not use chemical peels for 2 weeks before the procedure.
  • If the skin has been tanned recently, wait 2-4 weeks before treatment.
  • At least 2 weeks should have passed before the laser procedure if you have used medications or herbs containing photosensitizing agents.
  • Do not use creams or cosmetics containing retinol, isotretinoin, or fruit acids on the treatment area for 3 days before the procedure.
  • Oral vitamins A, E, and beta-carotene should not be used for 4 weeks before the procedure.
  • Please inform our staff if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Laser hair removal should not be performed on tattooed skin.
  • Certain medical conditions are widely considered contraindications for laser hair removal.
  • Laser hair removal may be particularly painful on areas of the body where lesions or open wounds are present.
  • Herpes: Laser hair removal is possible when the herpes virus is under control.
  • Moles will be avoided. It is important to monitor any visual changes that may occur.
  • People with light-induced epilepsy are usually advised not to undergo laser hair removal.
